Circle Time

- A lesson with instructional and behavioral objectives to develop social, cognitive, linguistic, and physical skills taught at the interest level and developmental level of your preschooler.

Little Children Read

- Reading books in a variety of ways in order to develop and foster a love for reading as well as an independence in reading

Craft Corner

- A well planned and purposeful art project that will help to develop your child's creativity, confidence, fine motor skills, math skills, and so much more.

Discovery Learning

- A time for your preschooler to discover and experience the activity area (see the discovery learning page); it is strategically designed for optimal learning.

Writer's Workshop

-Time set aside to develop your child’s written language skills, learn their ABC’s (sound and letter formation), and work on becoming great writers– a life long skill.

Bible Story

- An age-appropriate rendition of a story from the Bible designed to teach your child that God loves them.

Library Story Time

- Once a month, we head to the library to listen to reading by the wonderful children's library ladies.

Show and Tell

- Encourages growth in self esteem and confidence levels, preparing the students for speaking in front of their peers later in life

Daily Activities:

  • SPANISH TUESDAY

    We will play, sing, do circle time in Spanish.

    - Every Tuesday the activities will be done in Spanish. This will expose kids to Spanish language so they can learn by having an opportunity to listen and practice.

  • WRITER"S WORSHOP

    -Time set aside to develop your child’s written language skills, learn their ABC’s (sound and letter formation), and work on becoming great writers– a life long skill.

  • THURSDAY FIELD TRIPS

    - Every Thursday, climb aboard the Little Children Preschool Van and prepare to enjoy a concrete experience that will enhance the learning that has already taken place through the week.
